  I arrived about 20 minutes before they stopped serving a free short stack for National Pancake Day. When I saw how many people were waiting to be seated I expected to wait a long time and face rude, overworked hosts and servers. The staff at this IHOP surpassed my expectations with pleasant attitudes and excellent customer service. I went to IHOP for the free pancakes; I'll go back for the impressive customer service.
